World Book Night Top 100
Den 23 april 2012 kommer succén World Book Night att återupprepas. Premiären det här året gick lysande när 20.000 människor under en dag delade ut 1 miljon !!! gratisböcker. Det var 25 utvalda titlar som hade tryckts upp i specialupplaga och delades ut gratis runt om i England för att uppmuntra läsning och som dessutom visade på ökade försäljningssiffror. Lysande om ni frågar mig, jag tycker Sverige borde haka på. Jag har tidigare skrivit om det här.
För att bestämma vilka 25 titlar som ska delas ut vid nästa World Book Night har man under sommaren kunnat nominera vilka böcker som borde ingå. I dagarna släpptes topp 100 listan (obs, den är sorterad efter antalet röster). Det går fortfarande bra att gå in och rösta. Än är listan inte huggen i sten.
Det är lite intressant att en svensk bok finns med bland de 25 första, Stieg Larssons The girl with the dragon tatoo ligger på 22 plats. Jag gick igenom listan och konstaterade att jag läst (fetmarkerade) fler än jag trodde (16 st) och kände till ett tiotal till, men det är ändå skrämmande många jag inte vet något om.
